The initiative is motivated by Helsinki, Copenhagen and Antwerp and its main aim is to create a platform which handles data, based on IoT (Internet of Things), ‘Smart Cities’ and Fiware technology.

The mobile app developed by Emergya and owned by the Instituto Nacional de Tecnologías Educativas y de Formación del Profesorado (INTEF), which is part of the Ministry of Education, has had more than 7,000 downloads in only two weeks and continues gaining users.

Among the events taking place, during these five days in which Seville was the centre of the Drupal universe, were some sprints, mentoring, talks and workshops. 

EduPills is a mobile app which offers mini training courses to teachers to be done in 5-10 minutes. Every course includes brief information, theory and practise questions or jigsaw puzzles.

Over the next six months (until June 2018), the committee will continue developing the Smart Cities FIWOO platform, which promotes open and secure innovation in the IoT environment.

This project will help Emergya to obtain the immersion and specialisation in Big Data and Deep Learning technologies in the near future through a smart algorithms application in the health system.

The project will include every technical issue related to the User Experience: interviews, surveys, benchmarking, journey planner, and data information that will be used to develop a navigation model designed to the users’ needs.

O2 and Telefónica Foundation have launched onto the market these webs in order to promote the talent and ideas from the youth. Our team had to develop a new online website, based on Drupal Origins.

This new online portal lets improving the interaction between users with initiatives as the creation of a net of social communities. Furthermore, with this new portal is possible to get better divulgation of resources and give them semantic characteristics.
